More Trophies Caught On The Original Fishing Snake™

A late-season launch of the Original Fishing Snake™ didn't sway anglers from using it to hunt for these monsters.

The snake seeks out bass even in 70° water

The HawgHunter heats up Everglades water.

Earlier this month I had the pleasure of trying out "The Original Snake." Even with the cold weather we had in the past couple of weeks, I felt a snake wasn't the choice bait to use in these conditions. This 10" slithering success has great action to trigger a big bass strike. I can only imagine what fishing will be like in The Glades this spring when the water warms up the top water action is really on. We had several bites, including 1 about 4lb, while we were fishing out at Sawgrass. I'm looking forward to fishing with Doug this spring when the water warms up, especially right before dusk when the big guys come out to play. South Florida is the place to be right now for bass fishing especially the Everglades or Lake Okeechobee. "The Hawghunter" Capt. Frank Carbone guides 7 days a week.

Dear Doug, Just got done experiencing my BEST day ever on the water using your AMAZING snake Lure. I had fished most of the morning without a bite and switched over to my Snake Lure. Having followed the directions on the retrieve, slow twitching retrieve, I was totally amazed at the life like action of this lure. Watching it float on the surface like no other soft bodied lure and the way in which it coiled itself up at a pause. I was fishing an area where 4 other boats were around and NOONE was catching a thing, I started flipping this snake into medium to heavy cover Lily pads, thinking I had the tail caught in the "V" of a pad I gave it a little tug to pop it lose, only to realize it wasn't a pad but a HUGE bass pulling on it. I let the line slack a little too late and lost him, over the next hour and a half I managed to catch three 5-pound bass and a 4-pounder. Just watching them EXPLODE the water to get after this Snake was a total rush, and the fight they put up was an awesome experience. I now look forward to many more successful fishing trips thanks to your amazing product. Here's a picture of a nice 8.3 pound bass that I caught with the Grass Snake.

"The reds were going nuts over the chartreuse grass snake. It's unbelieveable to watch 30lb plus fish mauling this lure."

Doug, I used your new Green Fishing Snake here in Oklahoma exclusively on 4 consecutive fishing trips in early September, I caught 14 total bass averaging almost 4lb's apiece, the biggest weighed 7.9 lb's. I can't wait till Spring. additionally I believe you are correct - plastic worms do mimic baby snakes, not minnows. This thing is wild how it floats on the surface even when not being retrieved.

Guys thanks for the Snakes,we killed the Pike and are now itching for the Spring thaw. This is the most exciting lure to fish I've used in a long time. Super  to watch the fish attack this snake.

Doug the peacocks were crushing the Snakes, especially the Chartreuse one. I imagine the Largemouths are doing the same? Come on down to the Amazon and let's have some fun.

"Striped bass were blasting the snakes right off the surface. Imitates an eel also I believe - super lure!"

"Doug, short note to let you know the snake lure is great. I have never fished a lure that swims so naturally. Also, I have never seen or fished a soft-plastic as tough or that floats a 4/0 hook on the surface. Anyway, I caught the biggest bass of my life - 10.6lbs with the black snake with red fleck in 3 foot of water. What a fight! Keep up the good work."

Mark,  Let me make one other comment about your snake lure while we are talking for the skeptics out there.  I have now used it on my lake ( Little Sandy Lake ), the Kissimmee Chain and last week on Lake Okeechobee & have caught at least two fish over 4 lbs on each lake, with the biggest a little over 9 lbs. All lakes were under plenty of pressure from tournament & local fisherman.

Hi Mark, Just got back from the BFL tournament in the Big O.  I got a great picture of a little over a 9# bass during my pre fishing. I'm waiting for my partner to send it to me.  She hit the red snake right off of some pepper grass and hydrilla.  What a great explosion.  Do you want me to send it to you?  Also missed three during practice and two ( one huge during the tournament ).  These were large and aggressive fish.
